How to use the Flux API with python 3.9

Hi,

I want to use python 3.9 and the Flux API to load FLU projects and to post-process without an open supervisor. I don't want to use the jython editor in Flux supervisor.

I know the jython API examples in the installation folder. If I run the example with the jython editor in the Flux supervisor it works.

But if I use the python 3.9 IDE, I struggle to import the fluxmp.FMP module to use the API.

Are there any tips or examples to get this run?

Regards

Timo

    Hi Timo,

I just noticed your question is still unanswered, while I was reviewing the forum questions.

I am not sure if you still seeking an answer to your question. I know there was limitation with Python API with Flux 2021 and older version. With Flux 2022, a new Python API has been developed and could helpful in your case. It worth to give it try if you are still seeking this.
