how to delete this surface?

Hello,
In the classic hypermesh then, Go to Tool > Delete > set the selector to surface and from the modelling window select the surface/s and hit delete.

thanks, but i didn't explain well .
i extracted midsurface.
The part where the surface protrudes should be flat as shown in the second picture, but it protrudes instead. I want to fix that.
I tried as you told, However, not only the part I wanted but also the connected surface below it got deleted entirely.
so could you tell me how to delete or edit the surface?

That indicates that it is one surface. I would guess that somewhere there is a sliver that is not fully trimmed.
