Hello,

In new 2020.1 version, I try to create a RBE2 bc and when I define the node (created by Mesh/Modify/Nodes/Create), I have this error. I have create a Structural Solution, I don't know how what to do. Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have been working on the modelo, and I have the next results:

    - When I don't define a Structural Solution, I can apply the constraints to points defined as center node on the Create RBE window. These constraints appear at the Load and Constraints window of the Model Browser.

    - If I create a new Solution (Structural) the previous loads and constraints disappear and I have the problem previously reported when I try to define that point for the Constraints.

In my opinion, it is an error of the software, and it should be corrected. By now, I will work without the option of create Solutions... but in my opinion, it is very useful because allows to define various load combinations and types of analysis.

    Hi,

When you created the structural solution, you have added the bodies to be part of the solution.

But Since the RBE was created after creating the solution, it is not added as part of the solution bodies. So you face this error message.

Please add the newly created RBE to solution bodies and try creating the boundary condition. (Open the respective solution in Modify mode and add the RBE body to that solution)

Also the previous loads and constraints which are created as part of the classic approach will not be accounted in Solution workflow. You can find more information on this in the release notes.

    Thank you,

    Renit
