PERSONAL WORKSTATION - TOPICS TO ADQUIRE

Dear collages,
I am goin to adquire a new personal workstation. My Altair license is the most basic (1-4 cores). I want to know if somebody could help me to take the decision to buy the computer with the best quality/prize relationship. As I have the possibility to use it until 4 cores, nowadays a lot of processors have more cores (usually 6), so I think that I haven't to anlyze this. But what I want to know also is about the posibility to use the GPU as processor. In which situations is possible to use it on processing? Is it possible to use simultaneously the CPU and the GPU? How I could compare the capabilities from CPU and GPU? In some information in internet say that the GPU could 'help' to CPU to do the calculations. Which is better, a GTX or a QUADRO GPU? Thank you very much for your attention.
Regards,
JJJ

Hi,
Kindly note the following about graphics card:
Nvidia Quadro series is officially recommended. The Quadro series is more geared towards CAD and graphics designs, while the GeForce line leans towards gaming. However, you can still work with the GeForce series. The thing is, you may face some graphical issues.
Kindly go through the discussion about graphics card in the following post: https://community.altair.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=55d6ccba1b2bd0908017dc61ec4bcbc4&view_source=searchResult
