How can I export composite ply stress, strain and Failure Index results for all plies in table format?

Hi,

I built a 4 ply composite plate and requested FTALL, YES in the PARAM card, along teh TSAI FT with SR. I would like to export all the Failure indices, stresses, strains for all plies in a table format to compare the results. Is this possible?

I did look at the advanced query option, but did not get very far.

Thanks

In HyperView i believe you could use the Query>>Advanced Query to get these, maybe.

From the solver side, OptiStruct has an option of outputting some results in OPTI format, which is ASCII (text) and usually easy enough to read in any text editor.

                F A I L U R E   I N D I C E S    F O R    L A Y E R E D   C O M P O S I T E:   SUBCASE       1

ELEMENT  FAILURE    PLY   LOC   FP=FAILURE INDEX FOR PLY    FB=FAILURE INDEX FOR BONDING    FAILURE INDEX FOR ELEMENT
ID   THEORY     ID        (DIRECT STRESSES/STRAINS)      (INTER-LAMINAR STRESSES)     MAX FP,FB FOR LISTED PLIES
                                                                         5.2053E-04
                                                                         3.0387E-04
                                                                                                       5.2053E-04
                                                                         3.7967E-04
