license not working

Hello,

I am trying to install 2019 Hyperworks Student edition on my laptop.

 

I tried requesting license file with all Wireless IDs but it is not working. I don't seem to have any Ethernet local adapter connection. I was about to try the last but it is saying my email id can request only 5 licenses. Most of those licenses don't work due to this issue. The tool for finding out host id is not working on my machine. How should I get started?

 

Could you please help me? I could try the last remaining ID but could someone reset the last 2 trials for license?

Hi,

 

If you cannot register anymore, kindly use a different email ID to register by attaching a valid University ID proof. 

 

Kindly note the following about the Ethernet ID.

 

The Ethernet ID is the ID of your machine which is exactly 12 hexadecimal numbers. For example D4WRF478F398

 

Run ipconfig/all in command window and check for physical address under Ethernet adapter local area connection:

 

 

 

The listed physical address under Ethernet adapter local area connection should be used to generate the license file, if there is no listing of Ethernet adapter local area connection, the address under Wireless Adapter LAN Wifi must be used.

 

That means if the address provided as above does not match the one in the license file, please request for the license file again with the correct Ethernet ID here https://studentedition.altair.com/
