Motionview: increasing end time parameter in the default analysis doesn't give increased simulation time

Hi,

I have been following the e-learning course for an introduction to motionview. The model is a four bar linkage system. I tried increasing the end time parameter in the default analysis setting to increasing simulation time. For example: default simulation time is 5 seconds, and I want to change it to 20 seconds. The changing the "end-time" parameter in the default analysis setting led to a result of a change simulation time is changed, but the frames repeats itself after 5 seconds. So I just get an anmimation of the model repeating itself after 5 seconds instead of a countinous simulation of 20 seconds. Is there a step I am missing?

    Hi Linn,

It is possible the animation just needs to be reloaded. Try opening a new instance of HyperView, then loading in the newest H3D file (animation file). Play the animation in the standalone HyperView instance and the new end time should be reflected. If you are simulating the model in MotionView using the ONLINE option, try the OFFLINE option as well.

Hello Linn. - It could be a bug.

The workaround is to save the model after the run, clear the session and reopen it and review the animation again.
