Plane Strain in Optistruct
Hi, how can I make the configuration for flat tension in optistruct? there is a file for this but I can't get it to run correctly. https://2021.help.altair.com/2021/hwsolvers/os/topics/solvers/os/analysis_of_pressure_vessel_problem_r.htm

Which version are you using?
Please try using the latest release v2022.1.You can find attached the results files as well.

In an HM session, go to 2D panel, elem types, 2d&3D, and change CTRIA3 and CQUAD4 to CTPSTN/CQPSTN respectively. Select all elements and click update.
Now you will use the correct elements for plane strain.
Also, define PPLANE for the property instead of PSHEAR.Thank you very much, and please consider marking the answer as correct if this works for you.
