Can topology Optimization be run in a prestress state (Bolt pretension step followed by loading step)?

Hi,

I am trying to implement a Topology optimization. I've never used optistruct optimization and I had a question on prestress state.

Can I have 2 load steps: 1. bolt preload 2. actual loading. and perform the optimization on this model?

If there are any tutorials implementing it, can someone point me to it?

I think if they're just linear with pretension it should be fine.

Probably even including contact (NL) would be fine.

There are tyutorials on pretension for OS in the documentation (Help).

or topology there's nothing different from the traditional tutorials also.

Yeah, it has pretension with contact. no material non linearities and no geometric non linearities. Ill try to set it up and will come back to this forum with an update.
