I'm pretty new to size opimization in Hypermesh. Is there a way to do a size optimization with 3d tetra elements or is it only possible with 2d shell elements?

Size optimization will work for shell elements.
Size optimization : The properties of structural elements such as shell thickness, beam cross-sectional properties, spring stiffness, and mass are modified to solve the optimization problem.
