Requesting sum of all SPC reaction forces

Hi,

I have a seemingly straightforward question, however I wasn't able to find any answer yet.

I have a static analysis. I applied external forces and constrained the structure using SPC. Now I want to sum all SPC reaction and verify that the sum of applied forces is equal to the reactions.

Is there a convinient way to do that in OptiStruct? If not, is there a way to do that in HW? Perhaps there's a script?

I'm sure that I'm not the first one to ask that question.

    request teh GLOBAL_OUTPUT_REQUEST

    SPCF(H3D).

     

    SPCF stands for SPC(constraint) forces, and it will write to your .out file the SUM APP loads and SUM reaction loads.
