Can we use any arbitrary section for CBEAM elements in optistruct

Hello All,

Please find below query for 1D beam in optistruct. Can we use any arbitrary section for CBEAM element sin optistruct.

    You need to use PBEAM, not PBEAML I think, since PBEAML requires a standard section input, simple example attached
