    Hi Mukul,

    You may have tried this already, but as the error message suggests, setting GAPPRM,GAPOFFS,AUTO allows the optimization to run through to completion.  See attached.

    It can also be helpful to consider if some of the nonlinearities can approximated as linear to allow for ease in running topology optimization (like sliding contacts instead of friction, for instance).
