I am analyzing a thermal load case using Beam elements (as bolt) and rigid spider as coupling between a joint member and the bolt. Unfortunately the rigid spider introduce imaginary stress due to no thermal expansion and I would like find a .tcl-script that replace the rigid spiders with multiple B31 beam elements (Abaqus used as a solver in this case). I recall a couple years ago I had a similar that was available on the altair script exchange but was unable to find it. Does some one know where to find it or a script that solves my problem?
