Mesh on an optimized component

Hi,

Hi have a disk of a turbine I did an optimization on it and after that I imported the optimized geometry in Solidworks to correct the final geometry. The design space was only the disk so the blade has been left invariated. Then I imported again th new geometry from Solidworks to Hypermesh because I want to to an analysis on the optimized component. I would like to mesh the blade with the same mesh I created for the component when I was doing the pre-processing for the previous optimization.

How can I do it without repeat all the procedure I used for create the mesh firstly?

    Hi mabefa,

You could have used OSSMOOTH to get the optimized shape and then re-run the analysis to check the optimized results.

    Thank you

    Hi,

    Thank you for your answer.

How can I use OSSMOOTH correctly?

Load .sh file, which contains optimized shape in the result files field. Set the remaining parameters as shown in the image. Vary the threshold value according to the design you desire.

    Thank you
