Hi,

I am trying to simulate a sheet metal stamping in RADIOSS2017 and I want to simulate the dynamic relaxation of the sheet after the plastic deformation. I'm trying to use the card DYREL in which I set the Tperiod equals to 1000 one time and equal to 1500 another time and I obtained two different results. I set these two vaules by suggestion of my Professor but I have not clearly understood what is this Tperiod and why using different values I obtain two different results so I would be glad if someone could explain it to me.

Thank you

    Hi,

Tperiod is period to be damped (less than or equal to the highest period of the system). Please refer to RD-E: 1600 Dummy Positioning about how to use various damping options.

/ADYREL Dynamic relaxation with auto-defined adaptive damping is supported since 2019.1 version.
