Error when exporting solver deck from 2021.1 to 2019.1
Hi,
We are having problems importing solver deck (.fem) file from 2021.1 to 2019.1, the problem is that the elements are put in one single component called msc1.
The solutions provided in the threads
https://community.altair.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=ecf7e689dbcd4910cfd5f6a4e2961960
and
https://community.altair.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=58370827db9fc550e8863978f49619b1
are of no use for us because we have an older version.
Is there any quick way to fix this? By quick I mean changing some words in .fem file.
Thanks in advance.

the solution provided in your second link would be the best one, but indeed it requires at least 2021.2 I think.
If you could install it, it would already work.
Another option, not ideal, would be to import the solver file and organizing the model 'by property'. It will lose your original components, but at least you would get some division.

Yes indeed in 2021.1 there is not that option you have shown. The best option would be to install the newer version (2021.2 or later). Thank you.
