In am trying to model a wire antenna using FEKO MoM thin wire solver. The wire is defined as multiple wire segments using edit feko. I get the following error message

  Segment 1 is too thick (radius/length= 3.94622E+00)
ERROR 116: The ratio of the segment radius to length is too large

Using postfeko I want to identify the wire segment 1 and modify it s length. Can you please let me know how to identify the a wire segment in postfeko?

I now exported the nastran mesh of your model (this option can be found in the EG card), imported it in CADFEKO and created a new model (version 2022.0.2). Also I exported the newly created geometry, so you can use it in Feko 2021.

    Best regards,

    Hi @shan25

    You can use "Find elements":

Note, the warning is given, when the radius of a segment is greater than 1/4 of its length. In your .pre file you defined a huge number of extremely short wires, so this will probably demand a radius of ~0.1 mm or so. I would be better to define longer wires. In CADFEKO this would be much easier than in EDITFEKO.

    Hope this helps!
