How to clean zero length beam element

Hello,

After importing the 1D beam element model into Ansys, I found some zero length beam elements which is created by the same node and that I would not like to create. I would like to know how to clean these elements in hypermesh? I know that Hypermesh has tools to clean very small length curves but these curves are attached to surface elements (Geom => edge edit / autocleanup). But in my model there are only 1D elements (only beam, column and no surface), so these tools do not work.

Thank you for your help

    Hi,

go to check elements panel (F10)>1D and specify 'length' as 0 or some very small number and 'save failed'. Open delete panel (F2), click 'elems' to access extended entity selection, then 'retrieve' and finally 'delete entity'.

Thank you very much, I have tried this method several times without success. I finally found that after clicking on retrieve and before reverse, don't forget to click on 'mask'. Otherwise it doesn't work
