how to specify destination Component of a created entity

Hi

I am trying to create a line> interactive (connecting two corners of rectangular surface.)

I made my component 22 as current . However, the line is being placed in component of the first selected surface. 

Am I missing something ? In legacy GUI, the line should have been created in the current component, if I am correct. 

Can you shed some light? Thanks!

Hello,

 

As you noticed the "new" behavior is "the line is being placed in component of the first selected surface.

You don't have anymore the option to orgnanize lines (geometry) into current components.

If needed you can use afterward the organize tool.
