    Hello Ajay Prabhakaran Nair,

as we're moving the old interface of HyperMesh to maintenance mode starting 2022.3, we do not support anymore the set up of automations in this interface.

Is there any chance to plan to set up your automation with the new interface (the one called HyperWorks in the start-up menu)?

    Best Regards,

    Michael Herve

    Hello Michael,

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately our team is using Hypermesh only for the time being and we are in the process of migration.

    Hello Michael,

    Hello again Ajay Prabhakaran Nair

Thanks for your feedback. If you're in the process of migration, I would really encourage you not to spend effort on creating automations in the old interface, or at least to make sure that the automation works in the same way in the new interface. This should be the case for any API not relying on panels.

And as we're getting rifd of panels with the new interface, the panel and tcl window hide may not be needed anymore.

That said, I just tested hm_framework setcmdstatus 0 with the new interface and it works fine.

As a last remark, please feel free to tell us if we can support you in any way in your migration to the new interface.

    Best Regards,
    Michael

I get your point, but what if the users request you for an autmation in the legacy interface, which is supported as a core feature in the new interface. This is one of the reasons why we refrain ourselves to provide support on the legacy interface, as we improved a lot of workflows.

So by making sure of being aware of latest workflows, you can narrow down your users requirements and focus on the mandatory ones only.

    Regards,

    Michael
