Offset of Splines not possible?

I am trying to offset a Spline (in Sketching). It does not seem to be possible.

With the other shapes (Rectangles, Polygons, Circles, Lines, Polyline ...) it works.

Dear Wolfgang,

you are right, some entities are not yet supported for the offset tool inside the Sketch since it is a first implementation. It will be added in next version.
However it is possible to use the 'Offset' tool in the curves ribbon.
