Node Points after Solid Map

I completed a solid map in hypermesh and I see these yellow nodes/points that appear. They appear around a few 3D elements that have a triangular 2D surface. They only appear on a few, and I would expect them to go all the way up to the top surface, but its only at single elements. Attached are a couple photos of what I am describing. Why does this happen?
