Automatic saving of image for a many simulations

Dear Altair community,

I am running a lot of simulations in EDEM using EDEMCal and I want to save the image of the last timestep for each simulation from -X view (, and ideally with a green background). Is there any solution to do this automatically?

Hi Ahmed,

It's not possible as standard unfortunately although it is on the list of features requested. Using EDEMpy you can post-process the data and automate figures out however this is Python functionality rather than EDEM.

I hope to see this feature soon since it will speed up my project significantly.

Since I am not familiar with EDEMpy that much, can you provide me with more information on how to do this using EDEMpy?
