Hello , 

 

When I want to solve the analysis that I solved in version 2019 before, I get the following error in version 2020.

*** ERROR # 6537 ***
Inertia relief for nonlinear analysis with non-freeze contact is not allowed.
PARAM,IR4NLCON,YES can be set with caution to bypass the restriction.

 

But I could not find IR4NLCON under the PARAM.

How do I solve this problem? Can you help me?

    When you go to the PARAM card, you will have an option called 'UNSUPPORTED PARAMS'.

    You can add 1 new option, and type these values in this unsupported line (HM doesn't support it, but the solver is ok).

     

    Do you have any contact with Sliding option in your model?

    INREL will try to apply an acceleration to compensate free-body movements. So if you have a sliding contact for example, it could create non-physical behavior.

    Firstly, thank you very much for your help and solution suggestion.

    Yes, I have sliding contact in my model. I will pay attention to your warning.  

    The problem was solved with the method you said. I added a screenshot of the option in the PARAM card, as a convenience to those who have the same problem.
