SPH Method Instead of FSI
Hello,
I am working on sloshing motion of water in a tank carried on the vehicle.
I want to modeling the sloshing motion of water with SPH in Radioss. Then I will add the effects caused by the sloshing to the vehicle model in motionsolve.
In short, I want to transfer data between radioss and motionsolve. But I found out that there is no direct coupling between radioss and motionsolve. Now I am planning to do this step by step. So I am thinking of getting results in one solver and transferring it manually to another.
Can you tell me any alternative method to the solution I mentioned, other than FSI?
Thank you.
Regards,

Hello-
This kind of simulation is readily supported with Accusolve <-> MotionSolve co-simulation. We answered this question for you in the past, so the answers are still the same.
You can take the results from one time history, and use that as results as inputs to the other simulation. But, using this method, you will not capture any of the effects due to interactions.
You might be better off just modeling everything (vehicle effects and water sloshing) directly in Radioss, but this would be a better discussion for the Radioss forum.

Thank you @Chris Coker
Sorry to bring it up again. I wanted to get your opinion on my approach.
Thanks again.
