How to export a CGNS file from Simlab

Hello,

I created a CFD mesh with a boundary layer in Simlab (the same model was failing in Hypermesh). Now I want to export the model out as a CGNS file so that the solver can read it. SIMLAB currently does not support the CFD solver I am using. How do I do it?

Thanks,

Akhilesh

I would suggest to export it in any other format supported by Hypermesh (Optistruct .fem, Nastran.bdf....) and then import it in HyperMesh and export it again.

Otherwise I don't know in which tool you would like to import this mesh, but it is very likely that it would accept also other formats than CGNS. SimLab can export plenty of other formats, including Fluent. Maybe this can be another way too
