Equally distibuted force over a set of nodes.

What is the proper method to create a Force wich is applied to a entire set of nodes and is distributed equally over all these selected nodes?

So far, I experienced that when selecting multiple nodes to application of a force, the force is applied to each individual node, which is not desirable in my case.

You can create the loads through the Browser which will use a node set instead of individual nodes
