Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade (finally) our current version of Monarch and Automator.   I have a few questions:

1) is the current 2023 version Available for the Monarch Complete and the Automator?

2)  I currently have version 15.x.   Will there be an upgrade process from 15.x to 2023?

    Hello Ruben, 

    To answer your questions:  

    1. Yes, there is a 2023 release available for both Monarch Complete and Automator. You can find the release notes and documentation on Altair One Marketplace and request the rest of the documentation through Altair support

    2.  The upgrade path would depend on your current configuration, the operating system the environment is installed in, the prerequisites installed in your current environment, and a requirement to convert from legacy licensing to Altair unit licensing. There are quite a few steps to go through and depending on your current environment and required down system time you may need to create a separate environment for the new Monarch Server to migrate your production system to with less risk, a new operating system, and database version, and enough time for testing. Also, with version 2023 some connector changes need to be assessed to find out if your current models\workspaces are not affected by some connector conversions and depreciation.  Our PS \Customer success team can help with such an assessment.
