Geometric non linear analysis - temperature

Hi,

I'm modeling a stiffened sphere subjected to external pressure and to expansion due to high temperature.

I performed a geometric non linear simulation considering only the external pressure and now I'd like to evaluate the effect of the high temperature.

How can I include it in the analysis?

I can't find nothing similar to the TEMP entry of the linear static

    Hi @Enrico

     

    What is the analysis type are you using?

     

    If you are using NLSTAT as analysis type you can add temperature load to the subcase as shown in the image below:

    Hi Enrico,

     

    Instead try LGDISP which activates geometric large displacement analysis with analysis type NLSTAT
