Relocate nodes to the result (deformation) location

Hi All,

I have analysed a plate under pressure. Now I want to use the result (deformation * (-1)) as a pre-deformation / imperfection in the other direction.

Is this with Hypermesh / Hyperview easy possible? or is there an existing script? What will be the easiest way?

Thanky for instructions or a link to a forum thread, if I have overlook it.

Hi Arne,

I just went through your requirement and I think you can do the (deformation*(-1)) in the scale panel available in Hyperview where you can give the the scale value as -1. You can also export this shape as .fem. See the below pic.

It works with a new linear Superposition Loadcase in Hyperview and than an export!
