I have hex elements as shown

after meshing instead of 2 columns , i have a requirement of 3 columns then using SPLIT option under 3D page i did split in given node direction(red line)

i have 3 columns now ,but the average length is not adjusted (bigger and smaller length elements)

Question: how to adjust its average length of elements allover thickness image

like this

is this possible in hm

apart from remapping with given number of layers
