Periodicity Coordinates

I have imported a 1/6th CAD model of an AFPM motor in to Flux and the coordinate system is in the centre of the model.

I need to create a periodicity around the centre of the axle,on the Z-axis. but due to the coordinate system being in the centre of the model, the model is creating a periodicity around the centre of the model. making each period on top of each other.

I have created a coordinate system at the point at which i want the periodicity to be around, but there does not seem to be an option to select a different coordinate system at which to do the periodicity around.

Is there a button i am missing?

Any advice would be appreciated

Many Thanks
Sam

    Hi,

The fact that the coordinate system is in the center of the geometry, in principle this is not a problem. you can check the type of periodicity you have created (rotation / translation).

can you send me the Flux project.

    Best regards.
