Permission to use FluxMotor MotorCatalog references in Academic Papers
Dear Altair, how are you?
I'm pursuing my Masters Degree in Universidade de São Paulo and I used two motors from the MotorCatalog of the FluxMotor in some FEM simulations: Toyota Prius 2004 and Honda Accord 2005. With this simulations I found some interesting results that I want to publish in an Academic Paper, but I would like to know if I have the legal rights of the three companies: Toyota, Honda and Altair. I imagine that if the motors are available in the Catalog, they can be used, but I need to make sure to publish.
Of course that Altair will be cited in the paper, both in the motors pictures and texts, as well as in the Acknowledgment part. For example:
The Authors would like to thank Altair Engineering inc. for kindly supporting the Laboratory of Applied Electromagnetics with their software packages, particularly the Altair Flux and FluxMotor used in this paper.
Can you please help me with this issue?
Thank you very much

Hello Daniel,
Actually those motors are not proprety of Altair, you can find them in several articles in the litterature. For instance you can refer to ORNL USA they have several motors specifications.
