Hi,

I would like to create a reference geometry in undeformed state of a component, for which I could not find steps how to create it. Could anyone please give a reference or any example how to create it. Thanks in advance

    Hi,

Create the geometry for the same export the RADIOSS deck. Then copy the nodal coordinates of that part into a text file.

And finally in the model include this text file and there you can describe the reference state for elements belonging to a part, using the nodal coordinates.

Thank you George! I still have a problem. I will explain what I did.

I exported the radioss deck for undeformed geometry and copied nodes of the components to .txt file. I have created a new include file (empty) in my file which has deformed geometries and now I want to import this .txt file. When I import this .txt file, it says 'the file type was not recognised'. I am sure i am on the wrong path. Could you please tell how to include and link to my file.

    Hi,

You can include this file using HyperCrash. Go to RADIOSS Tools>>Initial Geometry, Select REFSTA and import the file.

I'm attaching a video which shows the same.
