CONTACT- Node to surface

Hi,

I am trying to create a node to surface contact. while doing so, how to create the SSID set for node.

 

I tried the card image for the SSID node set as SET_GRID, but errors out

(this is continuation line 1 of CONTACT,5 bulk data)
  '+            N2S  CONSLI'
 Syntax error(s) found in bulk data 'CONTACT' card.

 

How to resolve, Please help

    Hi Karthik,

     

    Looks like the problem is coming when you are using Entity editor.

     

    Can you try to the same using Interface panel?

    Could you please let us know which version of HyperWorks are you using and updates you have for the same?

    Hi Prakash,

    I am using HM v14.0.

     

    Error solved by using both master and slave entity as sets instead of SSID- set and MSID- contact surface

    Sorry, but node to surface contact works in Optistruct?

    Hi Fabiano,

    Node to node, node to surface and surface to surface all 3 will work for sure, i have used them all
