Contact issue

HI,

I am doing a Transient problem, my contact interface is not working.

I have tried surface to suface, node to surface type, with friction/sliding.

Also tried changing the master and slave. But not working.

Pls help

Hi Karthik,

Use Analysis type IMPDYN with which you can do a transient analysis with contacts.

Can you try with stick instead of slide?

Hi Prakash,

No, it is to be slide only. I am going to lift the door once it establish full contact with the wall. My intention is to find the handle force req to lift the door. Its not possible with stick/freeze contact.
