Enforce Displacement

Hi,

I am running a Nonlinear DTRAN analysis, which involves sliding contact.

I want to enforce a displacement of 40 mm.

Using SPCD in constraint errors out

 

 A fatal error has been detected during input processing:

  *** ERROR # 186 ***
  An SPCD component must be constrained by an SPC or SPC1 data.
       GRID ID = 163082
     component = 3
   LOAD set ID = 8
    SPC set ID = 2
    subcase ID = 1

 

Please help me in resolving

    Hi,

    I cleared the above error.

    The degree-of-freedom (G and C) referenced on this entry must also be referenced on an SPC

    Hi LKZ,

    The node which is given the enforced displacement (SPCD) must also be fixed in same DOF using SPC
