Non linear geometric

Hi,

I am doing geometric non linear analysis in Optistruct. After solving, i find .rad file created.

How is it possible? rad file being a Radioss file

Also i dont get the SPCF printed in the out file(requested SPCF in analysis ouput)

I am following units in ton,N,mm,sec... If so what should be the DTI_Units Uston,N,mm,sec or kg, N,mm,sec.

Units defined on DTI,UNITS card are not consistent, mass unit is ignored,
only force/length/time units are considered in NLGEOM, IMPDYN
and EXPDYN subcases, mass unit is derived by other three units.

OptiSrtuct NLGEOM uses RADIOSS in the background ( we call it as bulk 2 block conversion).

NLGEOM does not convert SPCF you need to add in .rad files (REACX, REACY, ...),

You can use SI unit when having N, mm, sec.

What type of analysis are you running?

I am applying concentrated with force vs time curve for that i need to know whether full load is applied or not.

Add /ANIM/VECT/FEXT keyword in engine file, which writes external force to h3d file.
