Hello,

I have defined the material magnetic properties with the Rayleigh model (1 parabole for low H and 1 straigh line)

And I was trying do draw with excel the B(H) curve given by Flux.

User's guide gives this formula

(file:///C:/Program%20Files/Altair/2021.1/flux/Flux/Help/francais/UserGuide/Francais/topics/MateriauDouxIsotropeCourbeDeRayleighParaboleDroite.htm?hl=rayleigh)

But the graph doesn't look right at all for H>Hj.

If I make two changes (marked in red below), I get a much better approximation (still not so nice like in Flux)

Could someone please confirm me how Flux draws the B(H) caracteristic ??

Thank you

Andres

    Hi Andres,

you're right an error appears in the documentation, the formula to considered is the one displayed in the Flux interface when you defined the material. (picture attached)

Thanks for the information we will modified the information in the help.

    Best regards.
