    there are a few instructions for setting Student Edition licensing that you receive in your email once you're approved. Did you take a look at that?

     

    Usually this can go 2 ways:

    - rename the license to 'altair_lic.dat' and put it in the 'security' folder inside the Altair Installation folder

    - or if you open the 'License Setup' you shoud be pointing to this license file under 'Local File'.
