Thaks for making such a great product (SLC)

Can you provide simple direct links to the SLC for Business, Academic, Student and Community Editions. We do not need links to any other products.

Can you post the links as an anser to this question?

What is the difference between Business, Academic, Student and Community Editions. Our company likes to provide local  DEVELOPMET full editions to each programmer and minimize cloud/web/server seats. IT combines and batch runs the programs, very sophisticated breakpoint and restart scripts.

I simpler interface like Ultra-Edit or Notepad++ would be nice enhancement. First time users may find you complex interface daunting.

Thanks in Advance

Roger

    Hi Roger,

Thank you for your kind words about SLC. Since World Programming was acquired by Altair we have been transitioning the software and license access from the old WPL website https://myaccount.worldprogramming.com to the Altair web site. Eventually we will shut down the WPL site but it is still providing access to our Mainframe editions and to maintenance builds and software fixes for a while longer.

Academic and Student editions are available from https://altair.com/academic-program by completing the forms there.

Business editions are available from Altair Marketplace site on https://altairone.com/.

Community Edition is available on the old WPL website but we expect to supersede it with the Altair Personal Edition in the near future.

Sorry for any confusion during these transitions.

To configure Workbench to use a different editor for your sas language programming, visit the Preferences dialog > General > Editors > File Associations. Find ".sas" in the list and then, in the bottom section, add your preferred editor and set it to be the default for .sas language files. Hope that's useful!

    Best Regards,
    Nico

    Sorry about the delay

I am confused about all the different communities. Perhaps move the SLC to the WPS Site. I think your sales might be better if you direct customers to that site for non unit pricing. Unit pricing is not a good idea for the SLC.
