Jumping selection
Hi you guys,
I have the latest build and El Capitan on my iMac.
I still have an issue when selecting an object or a line from the little popup menu that comes up when clicking on objects that are on top of each other. If I pick anything but the one in the top, the object I then select will jump a little step down equivalent to the position/line I pick from the popup menu...
Have you a fix for that and do you know of this issue?

Hi Lunau,
Can you please provide your graphic card details? I don't see this problem on my MacBookPro with NVIDIA GeForce 650 M 1024MB card. I am also on El Capitan 10.11.5

Hi Arjun,
My graphic card is a AMD Radeon R9 M290X 2048 MB-grafik on iMac Retina display.
I have attached two jpg's to explain what happens:
1.: I select the second line in the pop up (Extrude #1)
2. Both the Extrude #1 jumps down a bit.
This will not happen, if I had chosen the part in the first line (NURBS curve #1)
I had the same thing on my older iMac at home, but it has somehow stopped when my system was upgrade to El Capitan and the newest build (the same as here at work)...but I can not give you any specifics other than it is two different iMacs.
Thanks for looking in to this and I hope you will find out how to fix it.

Thanks for the information. I will definitely get this checked with a QA with iMac and send an update

Lunau,
We tested your issue on an Imac running similar specs and found no jumping selections. One workaround until there is a fix either from Apple or from AMD is to use the selection filters when picking objects that are coincident.
Please use 1 to pick curves and 2 for surfaces. This way you can avoid seeing and using the list.
