Shape Optimization - To Optimize Thickness

Hello,

Can shape optimization be used for reducing the overall thickness of a component.

Tutorial OS-5060 deals with only shape modification to reduce stress.

Any other tutorials available in this regard to optimize thickness?

    Go for Size Optimization. Refer Size optimization tutorials.

    I took OS-5060 from shape optimization only.

    Would you suggest any other from shape optimization.

    You can use morphing tools to alter thickness for solid component & create multiple shape variable for given loading condition for shape optimization.
