i have these Error :

 

ERROR ID :          612

** ERROR IN INITIAL PENETRATION IN INTERFACE

 .. DOMAIN DECOMPOSITION

 .. ELEMENT GROUPS

 .. INTERFACES

 

ERROR ID :          750

** ERROR IN 3-NODE SHELL DEFINITION

DESCRIPTION :

   NODES DEFINING 3-NODE SHELL ID=46148 ARE ALIGNED

 

suggestion please !!

Hi Oggy,

 

Please check if there is any penetration between elements.

 

Goto Tools page>> Penetration>> select 2D and 3D elements to check and remove penetrations.

 

for error 750, check if Ish3n in /PROP/SHELL is blank or given a value. make it blank otherwise and run the analysis.

I changed the parameters as suggested above; looks like still giving having the same Error ID 750 for my model. Can you suggest me if I need to check some other things please?

Hi Shawoon,

This error is because of the tria element failing in quality. Please check and re-mesh the tria elements in the model with a higher element size and try running.
