I launch a crash calculation and from the start the augment error until 99% !! any idea please ?

    Hi Oggy,

     

    Please check for initial penetration in your model.

     

    When you have initial penetrations,  If you are using Igap=0  then reduce the Gap_min value to clear the penetrations.   If you don’t wish to do this,  use INACTI=6.

    i'm using hypercrash not hypermesh for pre-processing

    In HyperCrash, Goto Quality>> check intersections of tree selection for intersections and penetration (shell elements) check.

    I have also encountered the same problem and i have checked my initial penetrations where i have kept IACTI=6 already.

    Hi,

    By using Inacti=6 the nodes will be slightly depenetrated but if the penetration depth is more this option will not be effective. The user has to depenetrate those.
