Standard Deviation of several near field requests

Hi,

I have a simulation with 9 nearfield requests, and each near field contains approximately 360 points. I want to perform a stathitiscal analysis in each near field request, but I wasn't able to find a way to calculate the standard deviation.

Is there a way to calculate the standard deviation of the set of electric field values in FEKO?

Best regards.

    Not directly with Feko.

You could export the data and use Altair Hypergraph or Altair Compose.

If you really only want to use Feko you would have to use the API and write a Lua script for POSTFEKO and implement the standard deviation equations yourself.

Actually, @Bruno Vale  I just remembered this question has been asked before. And search is your friend ;-)
See the reply from Torben Voight with a helpful script in this thread.

    Hi Mel,

    Thank you for your help.

Actually, I did came across with that thread and I use quite regularly the script that Torben Voigt has posted. However, that script does not calculate the standard deviation and I am not able (I am a beginner when comes to programming) to edit the script in order to do just that.

I will follow your advice and take a look to Altair Hypergraph and Compose.

    Best regards,
