Is it possible to track the status/progress of Modal and FRF run in optistruct? If yes then how?

Hi Sumit, 

OptiStruct currently supports monitoring functionality for Small and Large Displacement Nonlinear static, Large Displacement Nonlinear Transient Analysis, and Fluid-Structure Analysis. Additionally, monitoring is also supported for Nonlinear Optimization runs.

Unfortunately, modal and FRF are not supported. 

If you have issue of insufficient RAM/diskspace, you can consider the below:

1. using EIGRA

2. reducing output request, number of modes, number of frequencies etc.

3. model reduction.
