FEKO 2024.1 Student Bundle License Error

Hello everyone, 

I have recently uninstalled Feko Student Bundle 2023.1 and installed 2024.1 version. When I try to run, for example, CADFEKO, I am getting a License Error, see screenshot below. 

I deactivated and reactivated the student license but it didn't work. 

When I looked into the PATHs, I noted that the .lic was there but I couldn't find the .dat file. 

Can anyone help me out to resolve the issue.

    Hello Darnel,

    Basically, if you update the Feko version (2023.1 -> 2024.1), you need to also update your license file with Altair.

     

    As the error message included, your license file (which can run 2024.1), altair_lic.dat should be located at the license path.

    Regarding the file extension difference, you can just change the file name from ~.lic to "altair_lic.dat".

    Please uninstall and download version 2024 from the Altair one marketplace that does not have this error or issue.
