how to model the deformation of geomtery due to particle flow in EDEM

Hi guys,

Hope all are well. If I want to simulate the deformation of geometry, like bending, i.e. the blade used to mix the strong particles at high speeds, which software should I use to couple with EDEM. Thank you very much.

Hi Sunny,

If the geometry deformations are not too large EDEM coupled with MotionSolve (Which is a Multi Body Dynamics Solver) is a good option to simulate.

More examples of EDEM+ MotionSolve can be found in the Motion View/Motion Solve help.

To add to Prasad's answer - if MotionSolve is appropriate for linear elastic deformations up to 10% strain.
